My left eyelid has been twitching and having little uncontrollable spasms since Friday. Some people think that means someone is talking about me. If that is the case that person should've run out of things to say by now. It's been 6 days and it's driving me insane. What is the real cause of muscle spasms? I get them all the time, sometimes in my arm, my leg, my shoulder and on my face. I can actually see my muscle moving involuntarily.

Argh, that crap is SO annoying! I used to have that happen more when I was a teenager - so unsettling having a part of your body wigg out on you for no apparent reason.
Dunno why it happens though. Lemme know if you find out.
I had that problem before and even now for the past one month. Last time when it happened I went and saw an eye specialist. She checked my eyes and told me that it might be because of stress and it might also be because of spending more time before computer. She asked me to take more breaks from the computer. I am not sure if that helped me or if the stress was the factor. When I am not stress I never have this problem. Looks like you are stressed out.
I have no idea about arm and shoulder moving involuntarily.
hmm this happens to me at weird times, like my eye was spazzing while I was in the mud bath so I can't attribute it to stress. I think I'll do some more research on these involuntary muscle spasms. I've had them on and off since I was little.
Ok, tried putting up a link, didn't work. I meant to say - so long as you're not suffering from hemifacial spasms : http://hfs-assn.org
